Why not make the most of our association with specialist off-road Running Coach, Jude Palmer of Run Surrey Hills and attend one of the workshops we are offering to help you make the most of your running. Whether you want to have a technique check-up or want to know the best things to eat on the day, there is something for everyone. A great way of boosting your training or your confidence. All sessions are suitable for beginners through to experienced runners and they will be practical and interactive. Join Jude for a practical session and learn the secrets of posture, technique and pace to make running uphill easier and running downhill fast and with confidence.
How to train for the Surrey Hills Challenge
A great chance to talk through the key parts of any great training plan, whether you’re doing the 5k or the Ultra and how to fit them into your lifestyle. If you don’t have a plan - find out what to include and when. Learn that it’s all about quality over quantity and how running less and improving your strength can lead to better running.
Nutrition and kit
A session all about everything but the actual running. Topics include; what to eat before, during and after, what to wear on the day and how to carry it all. A chance to try out kit and share ideas with others.

Jude Palmer is a specialist UK Athletics Off-road Running Coach. An experienced runner herself she regularly competes in a variety of events over different distances both on land and in water. Her coaching style is practical, personal and her passion is supporting others to achieve their goals whatever they may be.
