The Festival of Sport will be open from 07:00 – 19:00 with the main activities taking place between 10:00 and 16:00. 

Among those attending are:

The British Horse Society who will introduce everyone to the enjoyment of horse riding and how we can all enjoy the Surrey Hills together safely. Their exhibition will be full of information and advice for beginners and more experienced riders.

Aussie Grit Apparel, an Australian start-up spearheaded by former Formula One driver Mark Webber. They are sponsoring the Surrey Hills Challenge prizes and displaying their trail running and trail bike kit at the Festival. 

DogFit is not only sponsoring the Surrey Hills Challenge Canicross races but will be available with information and demonstrations on how to begin running with your dog. People and their dogs come in all shapes and sizes with different ability levels and objectives when it comes to living an active and healthy lifestyle. At DogFit, entry fitness level is not important - what is, is that you recognise the benefits of getting fit with your dog and that you are both doing something!

Bodyhealththerapies are the Official Sports Massage Partner. The team are a London based Massage, Sports and Soft Tissue Therapy Company providing an event massage service for several major sporting events in London and the south-east region. They are the massage provider for the Vitality Big Half and 10,000 and partnerships with GOSH, Alzheimer’s Research UK, Landmark and Windsor Half Marathon. Royal Parks Half Marathon and Prudential Ride London. On the day they will be providing pre and post-event sports massage for all runners and Festival goers. Massage prices: £10 for 10 minutes, £15 for 15 minutes.

Mole Valley Orienteering are experts in orienteering and will be at the Festival to give an introduction and demonstration on orienteering. Orienteering is a sport that combines running and navigating. Most orienteering events take place in forests, though they can be run on any kind of terrain, including open moorland, local parks, sand dunes, and even city streets. The group are on hand to give advice on how to find out more about the types of orienteering events available, events in your area, what to bring, choosing the right course and how to take part in an event.

Mole Valley Runners is an affiliated club and running community where men & women can share advice, tips, achievements, their highs & lows of running, get support and generally share a love for running & find running buddies. As members, runners will also be to access regular runs throughout the week. The club will be at the Festival to answer your running questions.

Surrey Striders Nordic Walking will be demonstrating how Nordic walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking – it makes something we can all do, twice as effective!  It can be done by anybody, anywhere and does not require expensive equipment or clothing. It is the ideal exercise for any age, any fitness level, it is sociable and fun, the rewards are immediate and the benefits long term. It brings a whole new perspective to exercise.

The Surrey Hills Society is an independent charity promoting the positive enjoyment and care of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for those who live, work in, or visit the area. The Society encourages people to explore and learn about the special qualities and distinctiveness of the area. Volunteers will be at the Festival to talk about their initiatives.

Surrey Coalition of Disabled People - campaign and promote the rights of disabled people to have equality of opportunity and to live independently.

Blind Veterans UK are specialists in helping our isolated veterans giving those who have served our country support that ranges from rehabilitation and training to practical advice, and vital emotional support. They help rebuild blind veterans’ lives after sight loss. Away from isolation. Towards a life of fulfilment.

Children can participate in The One, a 1km fun run or walk, enjoy an inflatable activity centre, arts and crafts, glitter tattoos and face painting.

The very best of local food and drink will be served by Denbies Wine Estate at the Festival or you can visit their on-site restaurants.
